Moroccan Black Soap Wholesale Authentic Beldi Soap Direct from Morocco

Moroccan black soap is all we do. While many suppliers list Beldi soap as one product among dozens, our entire business is built around a single traditional product: real Moroccan black soap made from olive oil and olive paste, prepared the way it has been prepared for Moroccan hammams for generations.

We supply cosmetic brands, spas, hammams, private label lines, distributors and online retailers worldwide. Every batch is sourced from partner cooperatives in Morocco, checked before packing, and shipped with complete export documentation.

What Is Moroccan Black Soap (Beldi Soap)?

Moroccan black soap in a bowl with a kessa glove and olives

Moroccan black soap, known locally as sabon beldi and in French as savon noir, is a soft, paste-like soap made by saponifying olive oil and macerated black olives with a natural alkali. The result is a dark brown, gel-textured soap with a mild, natural olive scent.

Unlike a hard bar, Beldi soap is made for the hammam ritual. It is applied to warm, damp skin, left on for five to ten minutes, rinsed off, and followed by exfoliation with a kessa glove. The soap softens the outer layer of skin so the glove can lift away dead cells, leaving the skin smooth and clean. This ritual is the reason black soap is now in demand from spas, wellness centers and natural skincare brands around the world.

Typical composition of our standard grade:

  • Olive oil (Olea europaea)
  • Olive paste from crushed black olives
  • Potassium hydroxide (natural alkali, fully reacted during saponification)
  • Water
  • Optional: eucalyptus, argan oil, rose, orange blossom, rhassoul clay or essential oils

Each batch comes with a Certificate of Analysis showing pH, moisture and composition, so your formulators and regulators know exactly what they are receiving.

Who We Supply

We supply businesses that use or sell Moroccan black soap, from a first 5 kg trial to regular container shipments. Every order leaves Marrakesh with the same texture, a batch number, and the export documents your market requires.

Cosmetic and skincare brands. Consistent raw black soap for body washes, scrubs, hammam kits and natural care lines. Texture and olive scent stay steady from one production run to the next, so your formula does not have to be adjusted.

Spas, hammams and wellness centers. Professional-grade Beldi soap in 5 to 25 kg tubs for daily treatments. Most partners reorder the same grade every month because the paste spreads, rinses and wears the same way each time.

Private label brands. Your logo, your jar and our authentic soap, from a minimum of 50 to 100 units. We fill, label and pack the product, and we send the paperwork with the shipment.

Retailers and online stores. Retail-ready jars from 200 g to 1 kg, labeled and packed to travel by air or sea without leaking. You can mix variants in one shipment.

Distributors and importers. Container-scale supply on FOB, CIF or DDP terms. Each shipment includes a Certificate of Analysis, a Safety Data Sheet and a Certificate of Origin.

Why Buyers Choose Us

Moroccan black soap jars: original, eucalyptus, argan oil, rose and rhassoul clay

Specialist expertise. We work only with black soap. We know the difference between a well-cured cooperative soap and a diluted industrial imitation, and we help our clients explain that difference to their own customers.

Direct from Moroccan cooperatives. We buy directly from partner cooperatives, many of them run by women. Removing middlemen means fairer income for producers and better prices for you.

Traceable batches. Every batch carries a batch number linked to its cooperative, production date and laboratory results.

Export-ready documentation. Certificate of Analysis (COA), Safety Data Sheet (SDS), Certificate of Origin from the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce, and organic certificates where applicable.

Flexible quantities. From a 5 kg trial order to full containers.

Samples first. Test texture, scent and performance before committing to a bulk order.

Authentic Sourcing, Traditional Method

Our soap is prepared by cooperative artisans using the traditional method: olive oil and olive paste are slowly cooked with the alkali, then left to rest and cure until the paste reaches the right texture. This slow process is what gives Beldi soap its smooth gel and gentle feel on the skin.

Buying from cooperatives also means your purchase supports rural employment, especially for women in Morocco. We visit our partner workshops regularly and check every lot before it enters our warehouse in Marrakesh.

A lot is not shipped until texture, scent and moisture match the grade you ordered. You receive the batch number, the cooperative it came from, and documents that match that exact lot.

  • Olive oil and olive paste from Moroccan groves
  • Slow cook and cure in partner cooperative workshops
  • Checked in Marrakesh before packing
  • Batch number, Certificate of Analysis and export documents with every shipment
